H1 Compared to VG10?

I'm looking to pick up either a Delica or Salt 1, wondering how H1 is with edge retention and all that?

Is it as good as VG10? If it has the same edge capabilities as VG10, but wont rust, why not get the salt, ya know?

For light cutting, cardboard and similar you will likely see significantly higher performance for VG-10. H1 is more for knives demanding high corrosion resistance. It also works well for use as a "tougher" stainless :
