Hafting a Hawk

Hi folks
A good friend of mine makes some very nice throwing Hawks and is banging me out a head in the rough. I want to detail the head and finish it myself. I there an old thread on hafting around here? Maybe someone could drag it up for me. Thanks

I actually live in a place called Haliburton and I made smoking pipes sometimes. Your board name makes me think you're dealing with much bigger pipe.
