This knife is badass. I battened it through a dense oak log as thick as my leg. The edge rolled a bit so I re ground the knife. Basically what I am saying is the heat treat is spot on, not chippy at all at this geometry but still very effective. This is a tough knife when you need one. I wouldnt hesitate to bang it through fowl bones, etc. I am asking 150$ for this. It also comes with a leather sheath with some paracord, just in case you also want to use it as a kitchen/camping knife.
If you dont like the knife you have 5 days to return it. I will refund 100% as long as knife is in original condition.
AEBL stainless steel RC 62
This is heat treated at Peters in PA.
Full tang construction.
Oak Burl handle, stabilized.
About 9" OAL with 4" of cutting edge
1/8" thick spine.
Bevels are 36" radius, mimics those large old stone wheels.
