Has anyone seen a 110 marked like this?

I am looking at a Buck 110 with dashes on either side (-110-). Is this just how they marked the 110s in `92, or am I looking at something else. It doesn't appear to be a custom or have nickel silver bolsters. The doubled dash is just confusing me.

Thanks in advance,

Excellent question! That is one of the more unique 110's in that it is the only one we added to the date code mid year. You are correct that it is from 1992. Sometime during that year we made a change to the knife and added the second dash to the left of the model number. I do not see too many of them with the double dash but any collection of 110's would not be complete without one.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Joe!!

Yeah and I received it as a gift for X-mas 10 years ago from my grand dad!
He bought mine and a second one for himself in a small shop here in Graz/Austria. The 110 is all over the world!! :)
