I am requesting the services and advice of those of you who offer re heat treating. I have a Benchmade Shoki M390 blade that I would like to have re hardened to the the upper but still practical limits of this steel. I also need advice of the weldability of this steel before and after re hardening as I would like to have a handle TIG welded to it so it can be turned into a fixed blade. I bought the knife "used" on Ebay and it turned out to be unused, it just has a factory flaw making it unsafe as a folder, shuts without pushing the linerlock aside. Thanks for all help and advice.
