Help identify maker and year Japanese ww2 katana

Hope you guys can help, I'm having trouble reading the kanji on the tang and was wondering if anyone had any insight.

Better photos of the mei are a must for identification. Correct orientation (point up, tang down), proper lighting, close up, in focus. Learn to crop you photos.

Lighting to pick up writing can often be done with light coming from a shallow angle, with that light only or with angle light plus overhead light. Experiment with it !

You could also take a crayon or dull pencil and a piece of peper to make a rubbing.
