Help me choose a straight razor .

Hi , If this is a done to death thread I apologise . I would like a decent good looking straight razor . I am more interested in the quality of the metal and shape of the blade than the handle . If I can get one with a handle that leaves a little bit to be desired I can make my own . Its a question of cost . Is there an inexpensive razor that fits this criteria ?

I have something to add . I have an antique self stropping razor on the exchange forum to trade for a straight razor . Any of you guys who have a razor to trade ? Lets talk !

Look around and try to find a new Hen & Rooster. I got one for graduation last summer, and I've been shaving with it since. It's a 5/8" blade and comes in several handle types. It provides an excellent shave, and I think it's a best buy. I got one with blue bone handles. I don't remember how much it was, but I'm sure it came out to less than $65 shipped.
