HELP- What knife for Groomsmen gifts?

You need to think about a gift from the recipient's point of view. Not everyone is as excited about a knife as you or I might be. Also, some of them may live in areas where there may be restrictions.

IMHO, the Leatherman Micra would be a great choice. They do a nice, gift-boxed version with a nice little case and everything.

Thanks for all the great suggestions and the congrats, I am definately marrying up!!!

BF members are the greatest!!!

I guess I just figured all Men loved knives... I guess I might have figured wrong, however I know that all my groomsmen like knives.
The SAK's are a great idea although I don't exactly want something red given away on our wedding day... (I know, picky)
The photon + knife combo would make a would make a 1,2 punch.. however I don't think I could financially do both.
The micra is a wonderful idea, as is the dragonfly. That remlington is a bute too! And, Engraving, what a great idea, I would have never thought of that! I will drop by costco this weekend and check out the micra deal, I will also check around for deals on the dragonflies and the remlington.
Sal, DL, db, you all mentioned engraving. Sal do you do that there in Golden? And DL, db, and others where should I have this engraving done??

THanks again, I feel like we are family here!

Ryan,
I'm getting married in about a year and facing a similar problem. I would like to add that the Photon/Ladybug combo at Ironstone is less than $30. Far less than you can buy them seperately for most of the time. Also you can buy many SAK models in a nice black handle color that would match a tux quite nicely!

Congratulations and good luck.

Ryan go to the jeweler that you got the rings from. They should give you a great deall since you got the rings there. Mine did our rings and the knives for half price.

Spide: Congratulations!! Getting married is a great thing!! As for the groomsmen, have you thought about the tool logic set?? It has a blade and other acessories and now comes with and without a light. Retail is about $20.00. A decent gift for those who are not big knife aficionados.

Hope this helps.

Doug

Congratulations Spidie. I know a man who might have some Pearl handled Victorinox Swiss Army Classics left. They run in your price range and come in white or Gold Lip Pearl I think he charges 22 or 23 bucks for these. Email me if you are interested and I will send you his phone number. He is a long time dealer/distributor who is retireing.
