I have learned that leaving them raw is tough.

This one is sealed with many coats of neats foot and a protectant. I left her in the sun for a time to get the right color - but other than that - she is nude.

Talfuchre,
I was just wondering if that is hand stitching ? If it is I am totally in awe of your skills !

Josh,

It is hand stitched.

You want to be in awe? Hang around here and check out some of the other makers. Sheesh - they ALWAYS send me back to the work bench to try harder!

Looking good. Your stiching does look really good. What stiching material are you using now a days. I tried some of the synthetic and did not like it. I have to find a good supplier for thread material.

Nice looking job there! and agree that stitching looks as clean as possible!

The knife also looks like it has a handy type blade style too, great combo there.

edited to add, is that belt loop is snapped on? otherwise I'd have that snap
side facing the other direction away from the handle scale.

G2,

No sir, that is a Chicago Screw.

Thanks for the comments - for you to say that the stitching looks right means a lot to me - your stitching is what I try to achieve.

While I'm not a fan of the Sponge Bob Square Pants style, I certainly appreciate good workmanship.
I'll have to give drilled stitching holes a shot.....looks very clean and even.
Great job.
