I received my first and last Hinderer product yesterday. I'm in a Ti flipper phase and so had to check out the popular XM-18 3.5 in full Ti hardware.
It's a sturdy knife, but it has one serious flaw: it fails to flip! In a handful of attempts, it refused to open even halfway. I understand that perhaps a slight pivot adjustment might remedy this. But, that might affect the blade centering. And frankly, any knife with a $500 retail price tag should work flawlessly out of the box. For the money (or even much less money), there are so many better options.
