History of the World

The BBC has started an ambitious combined series on radio and television called A history of the World in 100 Objects. The culture show special on TV tonight introduced is to many objects in various museums around Britain, from stone hand axes to Egyptian sculpture to Viking Jewellery, each with their own enthusiasts explaining why they are important.
