Hobo with different color handles

picked up a Union Cutlery hobo (Ka-Bar), one side brown bone while other side is unmistakingly black. I was wondering if this occurs at the factory sometimes, or do I just have a knife with a replacement handle/spoon? It really matters little to me because I love this knife, but was wondering if the collector value is affected. Thanks in advance for all help!
