You mean to hold the handle and shake open the blade If so, Axis (or ABLE) lock is among the easiest to do so.

i would say they are pretty comparable. here is the benchmade triage vs the hogue triage, i would say the quality on both is pretty high. the benchmade is actually nicer because of the smoother g10 handles, but the hogue feels very nice to carry and handle also.

I am impressed by all the "likes" on this thread and just looked at Blade Hq to check out the specs.
If I am correct, all of the models have aluminum frames...which is a "feel" that I don't like.
sorry to be such an ice-cube...but aluminum is the ONLY frame material that I would reject.
