I think it’s funny and sort of ironic because clearly the usual person responsible for engravings took the day off when yours was engraved.

Hi! Nope, not an order from DLT. To be clear, I didn't mention the vendor.

I wanted to go with DLT but #1, I don't think the S110V was in stock (or did i mixup with the maxamet?). #2, I don't remember having an option of adding notes for engraving both sides, so the other vendor was more convenient.

I am happy to hear you guys wouldn't do something so eccentric : )

If you ever have requests for a special engraving we can usually accommodate - just put any notes in the order comments section at checkout.

hmm.. that definitely isn't where I'd expect an engraving to be unless it was specified to be there.. but, I actually kind of like it how it is for some reason haha..

We did not do this engraving. No sign of it in our orders and that style/alignment is not something our engraver would do.

N nevertakeadayoff If we did and I missed it, please let me know - because its not something I'd be happy with leaving our shop.
Apologies, I didn't intend to imply you were the vendor, only to speak about the quality of service I have received from DLT.

I like the placement of the words close to the spine rather than in the middle of the blade because the latter always looks ugly to me. But, I'd prefer the line of the words to be curve-parallel to the spine in this case (more difficult to engrave I guess?).

My DLTrading engraved Manix is closer to the spine and parallel with the cutting edge (the bottom part that is most flat). I can see the text with it closed. Kinda feel like I just realized that lol

That's how I'd want it too. Up by the spine the engraving has less chance of getting marred through normal cutting use. Straight like that looks out of place, curved would be the way I'd prefer.
