How do you pre heat your oil?

You know what would be the cat's ass is to have a water heater tank cut open like a parts cleaner with a pump reciculating the oil down a shoot or a little trough back into the tank. You could use magnets or something adjustable at the end of the trough to regulate oil level in the trough. If your pump could really put out a lot of flow, like water out of a hose it would really get the steel down past critical in a hurry. All I need is a good pump.
