Hopefully everyone is doing well, and enjoying the holiday season. As usual, we have been busy with doctors appointments, both of us have health problems. We have been trying to finish shopping for the grandchildren, plus Connie has been making things for them. This is a busy time for us, the 18th is our 37th anniversary, we used to go out to dinner, but that has got too expensive, and January 1st is Connie’s birthday. Everyone keeps asking me what I want for Christmas, at my age there is nothing I need anymore, so I just tell them to bake me cookies. I’m extremely grateful to still be in remission at this time, and now (hopefully), done with doctors appointments until February (except B12 shots, I get those every four weeks to try to keep my iron deficiency under control).
What do you all have on your Christmas list, and do you have any special plans for the Holidays?

This will be our first Christmas after having "the talk" about Santa with our son. We told him he didn't have to write a letter to Santa, but the only way he had a chance of getting what he wanted was to make a wish list. His list is fairly simple and, in a way, thoughtful. One of the things on his list is a new bicycle even though he has a good one. We asked him what was wrong with his old bike. He told us nothing was wrong with it, but if he got a new bike, his cousin who is at the house regularly, would have a better bike to ride.

I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday full of love and laughter while remembering the true meaning of Christmas.

Hi everyone. There are some of you who have been around quite some time have seen me around here and even possibly caught me at a JK Gathering or three. I'm typically a really private person, even with my blade loving brethren, check my post count, lol. So, I saw this thread yesterday mid-afternoon and was going to respond but received a phone call from my Dad's work (he's 76 and drives a school bus, yeah, I know, hush, lol), they were having him sent to the hospital by ambulance, they think he had a stroke. He's currently in critical yet stable condition in a Neuro surgical unit. They still have him intubated, although he is breathing on his own, and sedated.

I just ask that if you pray, send out good vibes, etc, could you please do so for him? Also include my Mom if you don't mind, she's needs the support through this as well. I greatly appreciate it. Much love to y'all.

T TheZenful1 I hope your Pop pulls through strong.
Good to hear you are otherwise well.

JK Knives JK Knives all good here in south Tennessee. We are usually in the high 50s or low 60s this time of year, and Maggie and I get out plenty.

We are headed into the frozen north to visit the kids after Christmas, and my sister is bringing my mom down from Owensboro on their way to Gulf Shore.
We'll have a nice Christmas with Mom and remember Dad, then drop her off in Owensboro on our way to Illinois.
I hope everyone enjoys a great Christmas!!
