I carry my 42 at ALL times. It gets used at work about five or six times a night.

I got a bali for my wife, best trade I ever made.
 
I always cary my BM42s 70/500.
Sometimes I cary a PC68 too, just in case.

Actually I've been trading around my secondary bali between several other bali's in my collection. Just to see if they ever come in handy...;)
 
I can't believe it is illegal for so many of you to carry your balisongs.:( I live in Ohio and I can legally carry it here, in Pennsylvania, Indiana, and I think its legal For Kentucky.

I've also believe Arkansas is Legal. Sorry to see so many of you having such a hard time. And yes thats the list of all of the places that I have carried my balisong.
 
well it's illegal here too, but you only get a misdemeanor. Whenever I go into Massachusets, I usually take off the big guns (the BM42's). I'd hate to lose my bali's AND go to jail :p
 
I carry it about anywhere but don't flip Everywhere as that certainly catches some unwanted attention....and we don't need that now do we? ;)

Oh I always carry multiples (although only one bali).
Usually my carry is:

BM 42as in neck sheath or horizontal on BM sheath,
Spyderco Endura,
Victorinox Explorer,
Victorinox Classic (for the shepple to see),
LM Wave (works like a bali only less people care),
and a custom neck knife (or worn on belt depending on 42 position)

But other than that I'm pretty cool about going without a knife.;)
 
i carry mine probably 65% of the time ('42). i use it a lot, but carry a Spydie Native for PC environments.

i'm in upstate NY. balis are 'technically legal'. but some law enforcement will hassle you. luckily i work for the state doing mental health evaluations for Dept. of Corrections and belong to the union. the union sticker has gotten me out of plenty of traffic stops. last one was "yeah, yeah, it's a butterfly knife...is the Glock loaded?". i had announced both items before i opened the glovebox.

will carry my bali' more if BM comes out with a utility blade or a kris. the weehawk is ok, but the tanto/bowie just don't do it for me.

Is it just me, or does the average balisonger carry more than the average number of knives that other BF members carry?
