How to remove rub on Titanium Handle

I received my Bob Lum today and it has a small but very evident rub line on the handle. I don't want to hassle the dealer about a return and would prefer to find a way to remove the rub, since this will be a collector and not a user. I have searched the archives but really didn't find a solution to this problem. Do any of you Spydernuts have any recommendations?

Thanks

David - without seeing the blemish on there, the only solution may be to have the handle re-blasted. Blasated ti handles are great but they tend to show scratches and scuffs easily. Is there any way you can scan the knife and post it here?

On the occasions that I have disassembled and cleaned my carry Sebenzas (also titanium), I have used Soft Scrub (kitchen cleanser) to remove pocket scuffs.
Also, rinse with hot water to help everything dry.
This process has returned the scales to like new condition.
You might try this, particularly if you are going to end up bead-blasting anyway.
