I would like to smooth out my para 3 g10 scales. Anybody have a method that is easy and results in a smoother scale? These are too rough for my pant pockets.

G10 scales are designed to be rough/grippy.

You could coat the scales w/epoxy and then sand/polish them smooth but why bother?

There are all sorts of aftermarket scales available for the Para3.

For SMOOTH, you couldn't do any better than these titanium scales but there are cheaper options available if these are more than what you'd care to spend on new scales:

I don't have a para3, so Idk what it looks And feels like?
How rough is it?
How smooth do you want it?

Fine grit sandpaper
Mag wheel buffing paste
Tooth paste.
Steel wool

Just using it A Lot with your hands rubbing on it... (Hand buffed)
Rub it in jeans or leather. Lots of things.

Can you post pictures?

Take it apart and use some 400 grit wet/dry with water to keep down the dust. You do not want to inhale the dust.
