Hunting Knives: Bark River vs Dozier???

Not sure what happened with Mike at BRKT, but from what I’ve read it reminds me of the Strider incident some years ago and it seems like people are buying those again haha. I’ve been out of the game for a while.
Anyways, Dozier makes good stuff. What did you go with?

There is scripture that I have heard interpreted (paraphrased) to mean . . ."Never co-sign a note."

I don't recall the location, but my dim recollection is, "Store not your treasures on earth . . ."

I try and keep politics out of my knife buying. I owned both brands. Yes I had issues with some of my barkrivers but I also had issues with some doziers. Get what looks good to you. Try it out
If you don't like it sell or trade the knife, and try another. Personally I always grab my fallkniven phk when I head out. I don't know why I just love it. Also look at the knife makers threads you can get some really great knives there. And you be supporting the makers here. Just my humble opinion.

One came dull. Other then that it was handle issues on certain models. Some are thin and my hand tends to cramp up. Some models are slippery i had my hand ride up on a blade took 6 stitches. I like models with the finger nob/choil. My personal preferences. great steel and heat treat

Thanks for the info.
You’re right, there’s lots of great knives out there.

But if it came down to a choice between the 2, for me, it’s Dozier all the way.
