Loveless NY Special with 5 twist Damasteel blade, hot blued Eggerling bolsters and mammoth bark scales. I think there is some glue on it because I can't seem to remove it from my hand:)

Dogman, that knife is pretty cool. It looks like a real grat knife with the setup of the blade, and handles. How does mammoth bark hold up? Nice pics.

That is pretty cool. I've always liked the NY Special design.

That slooowww twist Damasteel makes for a pretty interesting blade pattern.

And that mammoth looks nicely matched. Nice piece.

That is a real stunning knife Bob. I don't think Bob ever made one that looked anything like that one. Beautiful.
 
Beautiful patterns and colors on that one Bob. It all comes together. That is a very special New York Special indeed.

OK, here's how I want you to make mine:
Use the same steel on the blade, a burled wood or pearl handle, and brushed steel bolster! Lemme know when you've got it finished and I'll tell you where to ship it. :)
