Really, just a matter of getting time in the shop. I have a few other projects in line first. This is how my little pea brain works - I get an idea and work on it for awhile before doing anything. There are a few "details" to think through. It has some risk since the blade is finished. Epoxying scales onto a finished blade presents a number of challenges. Since this will be a one-way trip, I will let this simmer for a good long while first.

Thanks Nathan. I've been thinking that through - how to ensure a good epoxy joint at the pin. Since these are 1/4" pins, and the scales are about that thickness at the front and back hole, the blind holes in the back side of the scales will not be that deep. I was therefore thinking of possibly some more pins, maybe 1/8" nested in the corners of the milled pockets of the tang to also embed in the back side of the scale. Just ideas for now.

You're not a pea brain! There is a vast amount of brain matter between your brain's input and output. You seem to utilize this marvel of human evolution, the gelatin like material inside your skull, pretty well for the purpose of creativity.

You wanna know what's a pea brain? A hamster is a pea brain, i.e, the hamster sees what looks like food, hamster sniffs and then verifies if edible = gobbles it. You are not a hamster, you can do it and dawg darn it, you will do it :)

Now, I can't even do the photoshopped version. Am I a hamster?! :(
