imitation stag

i got some of this from texasnife my question is what is the stuff they use to fill the marrow cavity of the bone because i was thinking that this subtance is suppose to stand up to the same riggers as the bone the imitation stag is made from i could make molds for scales handles etc just a thought Russ

The imitation stag I have seen isnt filled. If yours is filled it must be epoxy of some kind. I should have bought some at the eugene show. It looked pretty good except for the tooling marks which maybe could be taken off with enough work. I like the smooth bone better. Have it dyed and stabilized. Giraffe bone is sure impressive. Bruce B
