I'm looking to buy a nice slipjoint for a friend. He is always referring to his Italian heritage, so I would like to see if I can get him a nice knife made in Italy.

Would like it to be a more traditional knife as opposed to tactical, with a budget in the $75-$90-ish range.

Can any of y'all recommend particular makers and/or sites to refer to for this sort of thing?

Thanks,

Mark

maserin-the damascus spirit is a neat little piece-frame lock, sweet looks and well made-about 100 clams-
they also make some nice stuff at around 50 beans

do a google search-maserin spirit

Fox knives makes some nice pieces, I believe that Spyderco had a collaboration with them.

Thanks for the feedback, y'all. Keep em coming.

Am primarily looking at the worldknives.com site for my options, but I'm open to just about anything that is convenient enough from an ordering perspective and has attractive products & pricing.

Cheers,

Mark
