How much INFI do you guys think Busse has used up from this world?

I would say about 1.5 tons. :)

I can't venture much of a guess, but I do think 1.5 tons seems too low.

I don't know how many people are financially supported by the Busse shop, but I will conservatively guess >3 (Jerry, Jennifer, ?). If those 3+ people are going to live anywhere above the poverty line, then I think the shop must be producing a lot more than five knives per day.

Let's very conservatively estimate that the Busse shop makes 5 knives per day, at an average of 1 pound of INFI each (less than a SH or BM). At that rate, they'd go through 1.5 tons of INFI in well under two years.

The actual figure must be at least several times higher than 1.5 tons, or they'd have been driven out of business, by now.

Interesting Question, I have to admit this is one thing I've never considered before. It will be fun to watch this thread. :D:D

Kinda makes sense:
5 knives * 1 lb each * 5 days a week * 52 weeks = 1300 pounds a year

In two years that's 2,600 lbs!!

Not counting Hell's Hornet which takes up 2/3 of the allotted INFI in a year! :D :p

you buy sixteen tons
and what do you get
another pile of infi
and deeper in debt

oh guys don't don't you know
a grinding jerry will go
and you owe your sole to
the busse knife store

mmmm mmmm mmmm mmmm
mm mm mm mmmmmmmm

This is a little of the subject but I heard somewhere that Cold Steel has to buy 60 tons of what ever Carbon V is at a time or the mill won't sell to them.
