I couldnt find any thread here comparing the both. So here you go.
Since l have very much enjoyed carrying my 21 insingo, l decided l wanted a inkosingo also. The bladeprofile just appeals to me, and is very versatile to use. Both for edc tasks and in the kitchen, where l especially enjoy using my knives
Obviously the Inkosi is a different animal than the 21. Different handledesign, and little thicker blade.
The design of the inkosingo blade is little different from the 21. The point is a bit sharper(less blunt), it looks a bit sleeker in profile, and offcourse it features the large hollow grind known from the inkosi droppoint.
Also the belly has a bit more curve to it.
Subtle difference, but noticable.
Even though it is a thicker blade, CR did a great job with the grind. It still slices like a dream
Apologies for the small cutout pics, they would be to large in size otherwise.
Thanks for reading, and l hope this helps out some of you still on the fence about the Inkosingo. Its a really great knife
Niels

Ps: a bit af cleaning before the pics wouldnt have hurt

Thank you for posting. The Insingo 21 is my favorite knife. I tried the sebenza 25 and it just wasn't for me. I am kind of on the fence about the "Inkosingo".

Who am I kidding, I will end up with one.

NvG79,

Great pictures, thank you! Sounds like you like both, but do you have a preference between the two?

John

Was just thinking about this comparison todayThey look very similar..thought they would be more different. Great pics, thanks!

Thank you Gentleman. (Thank you John for inspiring this post)
As far as preference goes, notyet. I snagged one from the first batch to arrive in Europe, and own the inkosingo since a week.
As lemmuhj said, they look very similar. Sofar the handling of the knife has been the most outstanding difference(inkosi/21)
And yes, both are large

I haven't had a Inksingo to measure, but my Large Inkosi has the thinnest behind-the-edge measurement of any CRK I've had (others have been Sebbie's, 21 L&S, Large Regular, and Umnumzaans). Looks like the tip on the Inksingo is drawn farther back than the Insingo. I have to believe they (Inksingo's) are great cutters.
