Is there a Cabela's AG only thread?

David, where did you get the ag 110 with finger grooves?ive never seen those offered, but I like em",!

I did those on the Alaskan Guide. Those on the lower model (the Bass Pro) I farmed the job out. I like the shallow type and they're not hard to do. Use a half rasp file, when they are close cover the file with fine sand paper and finish. Then I coated them with boiled linseed oil. DM

Like D-Rig, I picked up a couple or the AG S30V fillet knives a few years ago. They quickly migrated to the kitchen drawer and became Wife's go to knives. She loves then and I rarely have to sharpen.

These are in addition to several 110 AG's

I do have one other AG. I bought several of these thinking they would work really good for our
deer hunting thing, but just couldnt get used to the droppie blade after using the clip 110 for
so many years, so sold all but this one I tried using.

Then strangest thing, after having cleaned it up after using it one time, it laid on Moms kitchen
cabinet before I returned it to the sheath and back pack. She went to using it and so, it has
since became her go to knife and lives in her knife drawer.

And, this one is a 2005 Idaho... Left it with her in the '06 hunting season and it is still there.

Now, who was I to tell an 85 year old not to put it in the dishwasher...

But checking it frequently, it shows absolutely no ill effect from the dishwasher.

I also removed the AG back when that seemed to be popular. Was the only one I did that to.

Thought yall might get a kick out of a real life use of a 192 in S30V.
