I use the ISS tracker app on my phone. I find it really accurate. I can hold up my phone with the image of the orbit and see the station passing overhead in concert. This one is from July, we had a bunch of overhead passes just after sunset then.
Cool pics. spotthestation sends me emails whenever there is a viewing opportunity where I live. Had a good one this evening - five minutes in clear skies. Usually a couple of my neighbors join me. Yes, I am giddy about space stuff.
I just look at spotthestation from time to time and if I catch it I`ll watch it if I am awake etc.
Being a licensed operator, I tried a few times a few years ago to talk to them but they were asleep or was not on the radio.
