Japanese Sword Identification Help 1/2

Hello, I inherited 2 swords years and years ago but never took the time to appreciate them. Until recently. They're gorgeous. I did a little research and I believe I identified this one as a Type 95 Shin Gunto. Can anyone confirm? I think it's really nice but probably needs some restoration work.

This one is a NCO sword. Not a traditionally made Japanese sword. There were some minor variations and several production sites.
These are not worth restoration, but that is only my opinion/recommendation.
