Joker Knives

You definitely get a lot for the money with the top Spanish knife makers like Joker & Cudeman.

No long term experience, but a working one & it's just this one Joker bowie, I can't complain at all.. Not flawless fit & finish, but that is OK with handmade knives, minor imperfections give it character sometimes.

Congrats on your purchases..

Well well well, something's happened to this handle just beneath the guard, I actually heard it happen. It may be the buffalo horn shrinking, or just poor fitting of it, i'm not sure. It now looks like another imperfection, it's a small gap between the tang & handle. Nothing major, but it's something.

I just received two Joker knives, a Lynx in N695 and a Nordico in 14c28n.

After messing around with them for about four hours, I ordered two more.

I am sort of one of those people who likes to buy knives that I perceive as high value for the money. These knives seem to offer a nice array of features for a relatively low cost.

The fit and finish is very good. Assuming the heat treat is up to snuff, I feel like I am getting a lot of knife for the buck.

It is the same feeling I had back when Condor Knife and Tool first arrived, as you could get a decent knife and sheath for 40 bucks before they started raising prices.

Any one of you have long term experience with the brand? Positives? Negatives?

When I get a chance I'll post up some pictures.

So far, I am liking these Joker products.
I've only seen them on Youtube , they seem like an outstanding knife for the current price .

That's something I noticed as well.

I have been admiring the Stag horn handled fixed blade Joker knives for a while now along with the Muela made knives and have come to the conclusion that my choice would be the Joker Outdoor CC34 ( not the antler crown one) around the 6.5" blade . Or alternatively the same model that PocketKnifeJim bought , the Zorro which looks to me like what a traditional natural stag handle hunting knife should look like as the ergonomics really do it for me and the price isnt too high . I would prefer a carbon steel blade but it is what it is . I have to admit that it would be mainly as a collection piece now as my days of woodsmanship and camping are almost over . As I live in the UK I am rather surprised that there are not a great deal of outlets for Joker knives making it difficult to order the model I would like although I have found a company called Hunting and Knife (H+K) but not sure how good they are for supply as I understand they do not keep stock as such ! Any UK members used this company ?
Thanks

As a further addition to my post , I have ordered a Joker CC37 hunting knife which once I have had it delivered , i will give a short review on

I am up to six Joker fixed blades now.

They are fun to use, and my friends and family have been enjoying using them as well.

The only issue I have had, is the sheaths that use buttons for the belt loop are pretty weak. When wearing them, the easily come undone, and fall off my belt.

I may make a few mods to prevent this from happening.

I still have no regrets otherwise.

Good working tools that look good doing it.

On the first page of this thread, you can see my Lynx has a fold over belt loop. This is secured by two button snaps, which easily pop off.

On the others, the dangler loops are attached by two button snaps as well, and while they are handy, they come undone very easily.

I may just glue to snaps. Not sure yet.

gotcha. not the lynx style one. the other ones like this campero sheath I got with the snap belt ring.

I haven't noticed mine being loose yet but I put the snap side between my belt and pants.....maybe that's why?

might as well put a pic of the knife too I'm talkin about..

It's probably just me, and how I use it I suppose.

When carrying my Lynx, I would constantly pop open with just moving around.

The danglers would unsnap when getting in and out of my truck or tractor, or when the sheath got caught up in brush.

I just think a more robust attachment would benefit me. I hate losing my knife!

I still think the value is great for what you get.
