jbmonkey is spot on. I've had the same happen in the past. Actually, this month is somewhat similar. I order one within 30 minutes of it going on sale. Decided to get a second one since two of my children have June birthdays, so figured one for each. Purchased them about an hour apart total.
Received shipping confirmation for one the next day, but didn't receive shipping confirmation for the second one until this morning. Both are scheduled to arrive on Monday. I don't think you have to worry.

yep I've had that exact same thing happen before.

when I think about it..... shipping to as many as maybe 500 different addresses takes some time, and some email notification mistakes are gonna happen. its a chunk to do in a small amount of time on top of normal workloads. course I'm speculating.

I got a ship notice but didn't pay much attention to it... PO is on my unhappy list right now so I didn't check "when". I'm in Idaho though so "your mileage may vary". The pony rider sometimes skips Rattlesnake Junction altogether...

New to site and new to Buck Knives. Jumped on this one due to OD green handle (I’m retired Army) and the fact that I’ve been wanting a 110 for some time.

Purchased on Tuesday, but haven’t received shipping notification from Buck yet. Does Buck typically take this long to process and ship?

Welcome to the site. I've purchase a knife, then later that day, purchase another of the same exact knife. I will recieve a shipping notice for one of the knives, but not for the other. Both knives will arrive within one day of each other. So, in my experience, not that unusual for buck knives. Other knife companies will send a ship notice for each item purchased.

Anyone know what the asterisk by the model number means ? I don’t see any date code as an asterisk. Special build ?

Delivered on Saturday, I am not a fan of thumb stud but it is a keeper. I was really impressed on how fast Buck was in shipping. I am still waiting for ordered 110 Legacy Series.

Received mine today! Love it, to include the thumb stud (adds to the military feel)...never got a shipping email, but thrilled to have received it so quickly. First Buck...better than expected. More to come for sure!

For the June 2021 BOTM, the 2021 date code was not entered into the program/machine during production. The program/machine defaulted to an Asterisk for the date code on the June 2021 BOTM.

That thumb stud is removable using (most likely) a small Allen key.
