Just A Picture - Traditional Picture Show

Thanks trey999, that shot was from when it was new. When I can find my memory card it has a ton of shots still on it from my try at Kevins GAW that I have been meaning to post.

Duncan, I'm jealous of that view, sure looks like paradise! Love the harness knives! BTW, I met a few New Zealanders last weekend at a Midget/sprint car race in Indiana, they love those race cars over there!
Here's a picture of midgets, just in case you aren't familiar, sorry for the really bad picture.....but they're FAST!

Just stumbled onto this forum and thread (usually hang out on the Buck Forum here at Blade). I've really enjoyed viewing your knife photo compositions as displayed in this thread. Today's carry knife, a Case stockman.

Hi Gevonovich my friend, its always good to hear from you, Sir that little beauty is a" Humphrey Radiant" - my sweetheart got me a little box rom a second hand dealer, with from memory 5 old knives in it-she bought them from a second hand dealer and she had no idea what they were, or what they were like, she was just thinking of me and my love for old knives.
Well, most of them were retrievable, the Humphries wouldn't even open, several weeks in a Mineral Oil bath, with periods of taking it out and open the knife with Pliers gently and working that blade-now it opens and shuts better than my GEC's ( which is a big claim ) and its sharper than a Scalpel, the knife is as tight as the day it was made - in case you thinking - I didn't carry the sharpening marks up the blade-they were there, but they aren't gouges thank goodness, they are so fine they look like fine sandpaper - and Patina is almost catching up over them to catch up with the rest of the blade.
No Sheffield Stamping, possibly pre 1891, but apparently this wasn't always the case.
I Love the Rosewood handles and the Character they hold, also as in a lot of old Sheffield's, the great ol' Rats Tail Bolsters!
I really love this knife, I carry it a lot - usually if I am carrying a bigger knife.

Edit - forgive me, I was meant to say that the Ulster is just magnificent, I just LOVE Ulsters!

Howdy Clutch, yes the Midget and Sprints are pretty popular over here, buy using that word we have to be careful where you come from popular means there would probably be 5 to 10 thousand going to a meet, where here ...well I am not too sure the usual meets would attract say inside a 600 to 700 hundred, but when the "yanks" come over - its a VERY big meet! GO NEW ZEALAND

Thank you for the comments on the Harness Jacks, all credit to Charlie for them, I am starting to get brave enough to actually carry one now, keeping one as a Queen, as they are very precious to me....heres ol' Mr Ebony pokin' his nose into things...

New Zealand..

Our great friend here, Mike, he stated he loved main bladed Sheepfoot knives, I sent him this ( I hope this ok to show Mike )....

Duncan, your sweetheart hit a home run with that one!!! Thanks for the info on it as it makes it ever more special.

Keep those unbelievable pictures coming of both your knives and that wonderful scenery.

Its is always a pleasure to hear from you too, my friend.

Please take any further car talk to the Carl's Lounge thread. This thread is about knives.

Hi Frank,
Deceiving little knife it is, that lovely old Bone is a KA-BAR, you'd be surprised at the size as well, the oal is only 6 inches long.

KaBar? who'd a thunk it.

No matter who made it, it's gorgeous.
