Miroku made the Original Charles Daly over and unders. I used to have the Superior grade in 12 Guage. They began supplying Brownings after ceasing the manufacture of the Charles Daly brand. Very finely made guns indeed. But this is a knife forum so I must say the scales on that knife are very appealing.Thank you!! That one is a grade 5. One of the early Miroku ones 1978 I think. Deep engraving just like the superposed guns were. Its a 12ga and I have it set up with 20ga Briley tubes.

Thanks for your info on Chas Daly....and the lovely photo of the knife.Not exactly. Charles Daly was around long before Miroku started manufacturing shotguns under that name. Mostly high grade side by sides, but I have seen one over/under from back in the 30's under that name.
Anyway, here's back to the original topic.
