Just seeing how much it would be to turn a Cold Steel Recon 1 into a Salt style knife.
Replace - blade, stop pin, thumb studs, lock bar, rocker pin, back spacer, maybe the pivot and spring (if possible) with LC200N/Z-Finit.
Replace the pocket clip with either a Ti one or (again if possible) with LC200N/Z-Finit.
(possibly even the screws with LC200N/Z-Finit)
But if not able or too costly, then coat them - screws, pivot, spring - something like a NP3 Plus style coating.
And at first just use the stock g10 handle slabs, but in the future something else.
