Anne,
How bout a little Kathathu history in honor of the new size? When was the original first advertised, produced, and sold out? I know the info on your web site any other history would be welcome. I hope to have the pair in a few months.
Thanks,
Fred

Knife Nut in "flyover country"

There is not a whole lot of history - we introduced the 9 inch Kathathu at the Blade Show in June 2000 and within about two weeks, had names next to all 50 of them. The knives were shipped during the course of the following three months.

The concept of the knife was simply to showcase Scott Cook's ability to grind a blade. The triple grind, even though it doesn't necessarily look all that difficult, is not an easy one to do.
