Kershaw Cryo v. Spyderco Techno

The AO on the Cryo can be removed- and without it, the
Cryo blade flies out wicked fast and smooth.

Nice write up, powernoodle.
Waiting on one, should be here this week.

How is the detent? Saw only one video on Youtube by "Its a Wonderful Knife" and sounds rather iffy.

Thanks so much for this review/comparison, Powernoodle! I've had my eye on both of these blades recently. & you just made my decision easy. I love the Techno, but it is just way too small for me. Your comparison pics made this clear to me. I have large hands, & I also just prefer bigger blades. I EDC 3.5" - 4" blades mostly. That's not to say that I don't own, & sometmes carry smaller blades, but not many, & not often. However, I am looking for a new small blade, & now, I am sure that the Cryo is the one for me. Your review read to me like it came out of my own head! You touched on everything that I wanted to know, in a clear, concise way, so thanks, good job & please keep reviewing (& more importantly, comparing head to head) knives for me, ok? Seriously, you kick ass in my book, you may have just savd me about $160, so thank you!

I got my cryo for 22.00,its the most knife for the money i think i ever got. the construction & hardware is very well made, very solid knife, the finish is great,i cant find any fault to it. i heard there is a larger version of this knife coming, if thats the case, ill be all over it. its about the best made knife from china i ever saw,& the only one i currently own.
