Kershaw Leek Question- Not Stamped "MADE IN USA"

Upps... 61 HRC, on a Mitutoyo handheld unit, not bad, steel is only as good as how well you can heat treat and temper it, tried to shatter it, good springy action.

Hopefully it's ok for me to correct you here Bugout Bill.

The truth of the matter is that the Leek has been the most heavily counterfeited/copied pattern that we've encountered. I think the economics of making a copy of one of the most popular patterns within any given brand is smart, if you're into that sort of thing. I've personally shut down many hundreds of fake Leek auctions over the years. The Leek copies are more prevalent then the rest of the brands copies combined.

To the OP, you got the real deal.

Here is a short video on how I feel about counterfeit Leeks.

Really?! Pics or it didn't happen!

To the OP, I agree your leek looks legit.

BTW, in before the lock or the move to W&C.

Dear Doc, couldn't manage to snap the pic and carry out the operations at the same time. If only I had a budget to do all this, can hire someone to snap some pics ...just realized that I'm doing a service here.

Hey, i have great intention and motive, my audience are here. Sue me you prejudiced heart, yeah That the real reason ain't it chum.

Your intention is to troll the thread. You are neither proving yourself as educated or demonstrating you possess any meaningful content to add. As far as being a redneck type, I have no idea what you mean.

Well, all I can say is that I did TRY get this thread back on topic, but now I find myself completely lost...

Sorry for bumping a 5-YO zombie-thread (I really did search)....

My Blur and Cryo both have "CHINA" stamped at the very edge where the bladed meet the bodies (NOT "Made in").
Everything else looks perfectly legitimate. Both boxes are similar (but not identical - one's 'red' ink is almost pink), both have full owner manuals, etc.

Is this normal?

I also have a Schrade A8BS 24/7 Magic with 'China' on the blade, but last year someone here said that's very common.

All my Blurs are made in USA. My instinct would say it’s fake. The Cryo is a Chinese made knife.

Got any pics?
