Kershaw Strobe First Impressions-Best new budget knife?

Nice. Just had mine shipped earlier today so I am anxious to play around with this knife and see how it holds up to some use and abuse.
 
Man you beat me too it! I think this is a good budget blade. Its nice and smooth, I like the deep carry clip, and how they took attention to mill out the handle to put the weight down. I think it has really good ergos, a strong detent and flips nice. Pics.

Looks a little small to me (since it's smaller than a Ball Flipper and those are teeny for my hands) but definitely going to be pimptastic. Might pick one up if I see it.
 
I ordered one just because it's a cool knife. I love giving knives away and I'll be grabbing more of these to hand out. Everyone should have their own knives at a BBQ. :)

It's certainly thins the knife out, but doesn't ruin the great ergo's for me. Brings it down to an even 4 ounces also.
 
Steel should be Chinese, the knife I believe is made in China. Other than that it's Mat Diskin's design, Kershaw did Diskin's fixed Hunter as a folder, scaled down of course...
It feels great, I had a chance to try it on the SHOT in Vegas in the beginning of the year:

Definitely getting one, I can see it from now with waved VG10 blade and some polished black Micarta scales... :D
Love the way it feel sin the hand, the covered lock and the deep pocket clip, great knife for great price... :thumbup:
 
Dang it, you guys... I started leaning towards this one when I saw pictures like those right above me, then I saw the K texture and crossed it off. I love the size of the 300, so now I feel like you have collectively made me have to get custom scales for my future Strobe.
