It’s bigger than a large Sebenza. I like it, reminds me of a 561 in size. after reading the specs on it, decided to give it a try. I’m not disappointed at all. It’s the first ZT I’ve bought since the 308. It feels like a good heavy knife, time will tell if it hold up.How is it?
Nice! That 640's would look sweet with the ivory G10 scales! That's what I'd pick. After seeing many posts over time with the ZT 0640, I finally lucked out and saw one in the marketplace before anybody else scooped it up (never had one before). Even luckier that it is the black one! Before it even got here I had ordered a couple different scales from SUINGAB. I really wanted a blue micarta but can't seem to find one available anywhere. So I got a tan and an ivory G10.
Many posts in this thread showing some very nice ones.

It’s odd, last year I was able to find blue micarta overlays, but none to found this year. Not a good seller, I suppose. After seeing many posts over time with the ZT 0640, I finally lucked out and saw one in the marketplace before anybody else scooped it up (never had one before). It might just be the curse of blue micarta. I have heard from several makers that it is their least favorite material to work with.A couple years ago I ran across a small knife scale (and other gadgets) site that sold these. They are pretty nice but they no longer sell any blue micarta. I had contacted suingab a couple days ago asking if he could make some for the 0640. He is not offering them now. Not sure if he can't get any or some other reason. Too bad, the black 0640 would look very nice with them, I think. (this pic is not thread specific but just showing the scales).

This is an old model that belonged to my grandmother prior to her moving into an assisted living facility.

This one cut the spine out of a duck bound for the smoker no problem the other day!The newer china version doesn't cut as well and the pivot always loosens up. Well, at least the one I tried.

I happen to like the blue Micarta scales on the 0640. I’m sure those Ivory ones would look pretty killer on it.
I’m curious if you Emailed Suingab if he could make them for you? He’s got a wide variety and has been easy to work with.
Mine are Sharp by Design scales, I’m not seeing them from SBD any more

This particular one has served my grandmother for many years without issues, I'm sure she was harder on it than I will be!I bought it a few years ago based on popular online positive reviews. For the first year or so it worked great but then the pivot got loose easily after use even though I tightened it. Sent to Kershaw for warranty. They sent it back untouched with a note basically saying they could not fix it. No biggie because it is not an expensive piece but I have since decided to move on with other brands of shears.
