Kifaru Zulu

I'm gonna jump in here.

I have owned 6 Kifaru packs in the never ending search for the perfect pack. In my ignorance I sold some of them and greatly regret that decision now.

I have owned:
scout
zulu
zxr
emr
e&e
marauder

Of all of these packs the one I regret selling the most is the Marauder and the Zulu.
I would say the Zulu is thier most versatile pack. The size is incredible, compresses down enough for day pack use and is very comfortable for this. It can expenad to take a massive amount of gear. At one point I had the MSS a pair of cammies, 4 pair socks, polypro top and bottom, 6 liters of water, 3 MRE, NVGs. fleece top, fleece skull cap, e-tool, sleep pad, gore-tex bivy bag, and various misc. gear. Now this was a seriously overloaded pack, I don't know what the weight was but it was heavy. I wore this over a flak and was still realatively comfortable.
the Zulu is an amazing pack. Pack comfort is all realative, some people can carry more comfortably than others. My opion Kifaru packs are well worth the money and weight, thier suspension more than makes up for the nit of extra weight.

Kifaru packs are Berry amendment compliant, they and thier components are made, assembled, stored, everything in the USA. Thier customer service is the best I've ever delt with. And thier packs are bombproof, literally. The Marauder I no longer have survived being run over by a HMMWV, being blown up, and getting tossed over the side of more 7-ton beds than I care to rememeber.
A Kifaru pack will last forever

sorry for the tirade, I just don't like seeing people bash on Kifaru's packs, especially around here where a majority of people are all about buying top quality and American made. Kifaru is as American as hot dogs and baseball!
