Old style Kissing Crane horseman's pocket-knife with serious snap and a half-stop.
I rebuilt it as a single blade pocket-knife with a neat Wharncliffe blade.
Gave the blade an "instant" patina and replaced the handle scales.
Brass bolsters up front, but the real star is the wood.
Crosscut Yew from a friend in England.
Remarkable soft colours don't you think.
She is available.

how`re you going dirk? love your work , especially that paua shell sebenza you did.

Those Yew scales look really different. Is it a tough wood to work on though?

The Yew is fairly soft.
Used for hunting bows I am told.

What an improvement! Great job, Dirk!!

Glad you did that embellishing to this vintage Harness Jack. Maybe it gives some new modding ideas/motivations and helps selling my remaining Klaas knives faster!? ;) :D :D
