As one of the 2017 new releases, Critical has become one of the most popular Kizer knives the first time it had been launched into the market. In other words, If you begin to collect Kizer knives, Critical is a must in your collection. It features a popular wharncliffe blade made from CPM-S35VN with swedge and jimping and titanium handle with holes to reduce the weight of the whole knife. The first batch were sold out fast and we set about producing the second batch several months ago. After discussing with the designer Matthew and collecting the feedback from you all, we had made some changes on the second batch. The first and most obvious change is that we release two versions of it, Critical flipper(Ki4508) and Critical non flipper with thumbstuds(Ki4508A1). The second one is that we change the color of the pivot collars on both two versions into pure blue instead of the rainbow anodized blue collar on the first batch although some people think that collar is one of the special element. What’s more, the titanium pocket clips on both versions are anodized blue to match the overall tone of the Critical . Let’s see some comparison photos of the original and update versions. Critical Flipper(Ki4508) Critical Non Flipper with Thumbstuds(Ki4508A1) SPECS Steel: CPM-S35VN Handle: 6AL4V Titanium Blade Length: 3.59’’/91.19mm Overall: 8.64’’/219.46mm Weight: 6.27oz/177.75g *Please comment if you think there might be other improvements and help us make progress. :https://www.instagram.com/kizercutlery_in/
agreed. I like a thumb hole opener over any other opening mechanism, but a good thumbstud is preferable to flipper to me. Great looking knife.
Hi, we do not have such idea yet, maybe it will depend on how many people want the left-handed Critical.
