Knife Designs?

Certainly interesting conversation here! I like the attitude that your designs are basically in the art side of knife making. As a matter of fact, that design which is next to the last is very similar to one I have underway. I wish I was more into "stuff" like the first design.
I'm not surprised that a company may be after you to design or use one of these patterns.It will be important for you to remember that the commission you receive will be very small and that it is often the company will produce 10,000 of that model.

This is the usual procedure that I know has happened through two different knife companys in the USA. I had two friends go through this and it has been slow but honest. I really don't know how profitable it was but then --- ?

No real reason. Just don't want to release that information yet because nothings is set in stone yet.

I like #3 the best. That dip on back of the handle is something I incorporate into a few of my fixed blades... you know... knives that don't start out, broken!

Haha hate it when that happens, they just break for no reason. But thank you! As far as the dip towards the back how well do you like it? Does it feel pretty normal in the hands?

The fixed blade is an old design and the two folders are my newest designs.
