knife laws in canada

i will b flying to canada in a month or two and i would like to take my knife. if autos are out lawed i cant bring my ludt. that leaves me with my 550 benchmade which is over 3". would this be legal? if i need under 3" i have a reason to buy a vg-10 delca.

Canadian laws are actually a lot more lenient than laws in many American states, certainly more lenient than cities such as Seattle to our south.

Balis and Autos are illegal. Just about everything else goes.

Blade length is not an issue, for the most part. To be safe, wear fixed blades openly although a 3" or less fixed blade shouldn't be a problem.

Folders aren't a problem at all.

I routinely carry an Endura or two, a 3" neck knife, and sometimes a 4" fixed blade on my belt.

Actually I think that if you measure the blade from the handle to the tip, it's slightly over 3".
