Is the patina food safe?
Just wondering on how the Ferric Choloride reacts with steel.
Could it create hexavalent chromium or any other surprises?

I have heard of forms of FeCl3 being used in medication and water sanitation so I would assume it is food grade especially after a good rinse. I would have to search it up though and see if the interaction with steel can leave behind anything harmful.

I tweaked the pivot a little and now it fires like a rocket. Here is a quick video showing the action before any oil was applied. Now its even better.
