Yeah no relation to the defunct U.S. or U.K. stores.
In South Africa they are the third largest retailer in the country with major holdings in Australia as well. They have a very close relationship with Marks and Spencer in the U.K. and have modelled themselves after M&S.

This give you some idea of the stores...........
