Knives with phones

I have a scratch phobia. It's greater on the shiney phone screen, but it's a big issue with my knives too. I just can't bring myself to endanger my knives, much less my phones.

My phone is always solo in the front left. Knife is clipped on right with car keys. Never changes. Though now my phone doubles as a wallet with a leather case.

Now both back pockets are free, until I find something else to carry lol

Cargo pants/shorts for me. I can carry my Note4 in the larger rt pocket and my knife in the upper pocket. And I also have a day bag that I carry everywhere I go because I carry too much crap with me.

I keep my phone and small AAA flashlight in my left pocket. Keys and folder in my right. I used to worry about keys scratching my knives, but I have found that they really don't scratch them much at all.

No smart phone due to the bulk, and carry a flip phone as they are compact in front left pocket, Spyderco police and keys in the right front, buck 419 on the belt on the right, and fixed blade on the belt left side.

I have a couple folders that ride on my belt in leather sheaths. No worries about pocket space when carrying those.

I do as others have said ,Phone and Zebralight Flashlight in left Pocket and Leatherman Rebar and Keys in Right Pocket .Wallet in Right Rear Pocket

I wear Dickies shorts mainly and it has a cell phone pocket. My buck vantage small clipped to the pocket and my cell slides right on. Just make sure the screen is facing away from the knife

I've also carried my phone in my left pocket since I've been carrying a phone. Probably because I've been carrying a knife in my right pocket since before I starting carrying a phone.

Same here. I usually hold a phone in my left hand while talking on it, so the left pocket makes sense for that reason. I am right handed and I use the right hand for both cutting and handwriting. Sometimes I write a note on paper with my right hand while holding my 21st century pocket computer/phone to my left ear.

It's funny because I used to keep both my phone and knife in my front right pocket, but now keep just the knife in that pocket but the phone in my right back pocket. I do this not because I am afraid of scratching my phone. I do it because I am afraid of scratching my knife. :p

Keys, EDC knife right front.
Larger folder in Benchmade sheath, right side, if carried.
Flip phone in left front. Loose change rides here too.
Wallet left rear.

Considering a smart phone. Probably belt carry, left side.

Knife > Phone
When concerning which gets the right pocket...
Belt clip/Otterbox/etc is another option for phone whereas a belt sheath is another option for (some) Knives.
