How would you "re-form" a Kydex sheath
in a certain area {Modified the handle somewhat and the pre-formed Kydex sheath is
a little too tight}.

Find yourself one of those super hot air guns (hair dryers on steriods) and carefully heat the area you want move around. The Kydex at first will seem that it will not want to move or heat to the temp needed, do not try to get to close... give it more time than heat. Once you give it too much heat you will blister and fade your Kydex. Once the Kydex can be moved around with your fingers (gonna be HOT) put your knife in and mold it to how you want it,let it cool and test it. Don't like, it try it again. If where you are tying to move is near a rivet or seam that looks like it is a high stress area, my advise, don't muck with it,send it to who made it. Good luck

:
I fixed the kydex sheath on my Basic 9 with a hair dryer.
The blade rattled in it. All I ad to do was heat up the kydex at the bottom of the blade and move the kydex onto it more firmly.
Any good hair dryer gets hot enough I think.
