This is the blade I made for IG's hammer in. Didn't have time to finish it at the time. Just had a temporary handle and no gaurd. Worked great though.
Specs: 5160 forged, flat gournd, convex edge, edge quenched. The handle is bacote, paduke, with brass spacers-N-moasic pins, moritsed tang. Oh yeah, the gaurd is mild steel forged-N-twisted. Had to resort to that after trying (and failing) to forge nickle silver (my last piece). Happy accident that. I want to make some more of these that part was really fun.
