This is my biggest and latest 1080+ steel knife, I must admit I struggled getting the blades shape perfect, not that I did but it cuts and holds an edge OK.

The sheath is not leather but a piece of a old briefcase, I looks like a type of thick oilskin.

I am using my 4x36 with a 40 grit ceramic belt for roughing and a ordinary crap 12o grit for finishing.
I have just ordered 3 off 40 grit ceramic and 3 off 220 grit ceramic, see how that goes,

I am STILL enjoying myself but yet to make a knife I am COMPLETELY satisfied with.

Getting closer.

best wishes to all.

Robert

I love it when people repurpose old stuff. I've never heard of someone making a sheath out of and old briefcase. Keep with it;)

Is it just me or is it a little like the old Puma White Hunter? I like the direction you're going in.
